VOLUNTEER

Erath County Humane Society
- Requires volunteer application filled out at the humane society
- Opportunity is to walk, brush, and play ( provide companionship) with shelter animals.
- Weekdays 2-6pm
- Saturday 10am-2pm
- Opportunity to help clean kennels, laundry, etc. things essential to the operation of the humane society during more specific hours.
Cross Timbers Family Services
- Organization’s purpose: victim service agency
  - Providing hope, help and healing to victims of violent crime, including domestic violence, sexual assault, & child abuse.
- Volunteering is a commitment
- Training is 40 hours

Meals on Wheels - Erath County

  - Delivering meals, need fill in drivers 10 AM- 12 PM Tuesdays and Wednesdays
  - 2nd and 4th Fridays of the month for pet food: deliver pet food for 1 companion animal for client, pick up usually between 11 AM-12 PM but any time is fine
  - New Friendly Visitor’s program: pair up volunteers and clients, commit to 1 year of visiting client 2x a month, by phone or in person (most prefer phone at this time)
